My cats make such a mess when they eat!  But now with their new Neater Feeder, there is no more mess to pick up, and what I really love is that the water stays off the floor even if they run into the feeding bin. You can see from the image above the difference in the sizes of feeding bins. With the smaller feeders I was sweeping and moping up the floor multiple times everyday, and their water bowl, which is not showing, was always upside down from them playing and knocking it over. Now if they spill the water or knock the food out of the dish, it's all collected within the feeder.

Kitty Breakfast Recipe

Ingredients:

• 3 eggs
• 2 T. milk
• 3 T. grated cheese
• 1 T. margarine

Preparation & Cooking

1. Beat eggs and yolks together. Stir in the grated cheese.
2. Melt the margarine in a frying pan until sizzling. 
3. Add the egg mixture, stirring continuously until cooked.

Note: 

Many cats are lactose-intolerant, which means that they cannot digest cow's milk properly and they get diarrhea or gastric upset when they drink it. 

According to the ASPCA, "Unless they are spoiled or moldy, milk, cheese and other dairy foods are not considered to be poisonous to pets. However, many pets’ digestive systems cannot tolerate dairy foods very well. This can result in vomiting and diarrhea, which in severe cases could lead to inflammation of the pancreas. For this reason, it’s always a good idea to check with your veterinarian before offering any “people food” to your pets."

One alternative is using lactose-free milk in recipes, which you can find in pet stores.

My Thoughts:

When I received the Greenies box, my cats (Bodhi & Louie) knew what it was before I did!

I (or should I say they ) received 5 packets of Greenies Smartbites...2 hairball control, healthy skin and fur, digestive care.... and had a very hard time getting them into the cabinet before they could get to them.  As you can tell from the picture above the Smartbites were a very welcome addition.
